Lisa Ecklund-Flores is the founder and executive director of Church Street School for Music and Art, Lower Manhattan’s premiere community school for the arts for the last twenty years. A lifelong educator, Lisa holds a bachelors degree in music education and music therapy, as well as a license in Dalcroze Eurhythmics, and NYS music teacher certification. Her graduate degrees include a masters degree in psychology and a doctorate in developmental psychology. Lisa is a researcher of early child development at NYS Psychiatric Institute, specializing in fetal and newborn response to sound, and is a tenured professor at Mercy College. This delightful lullaby project has combined Lisa’s two passions – singing, and her love and respect for children.
